Works fine in my van. Easy to move around when needed. I empty the pee container every day and a half and the solids is good for about 4 days probably could go 5-6 with just a single user. I do think if it were more than just me it would fill up quicker. This is with once a day use for solids and maybe 2-4 times for peeing depending on where I am and time of day. Smell is very minimal if any at all. I use a natural cat litter made of cobbed pine and it works great for absorbing odors and moisture. Overall a great product that I am quite happy with!
It's nice to have an extra container. The only thing is it would be nice if it could be emptied from one of the top corners. It is not easy to empty the container and keep the handle out of the way.

I have used the trelino evo s composting toilet for almost a month now and I have been nothing short of impressed! Its lightweight design makes it easy to transport from camp to camp and it is easy to use and clean! I highly recommend it!

No problems... this works. Cons... needs an elevated base to be more comfortable but that's easy enough to do. A visible guage for urine tank would be nice.
We just got our Trelino toilet and we've been using it for 3 weeks. We are very satisfied with it. My wife is the primary user and she is very happy with it. It is stable, safe, and very easy to use. We think it was well worth the investment for our Aliner trailer camping trips.
I would buy this composting toilet again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone else considering purchasing one.
The form & fit of this little compostable toilet is exceptional. Initially I bought the Evo S for my solo 4x4 wheel’n trips and Lake Tahoe boating excursions. I found I liked it so much that I bought a second Evo M for longer haul camping outings with my wife. I typically only settle for the best in class products and I am confident Trelino is precisely that.
I had a C-Head previously and could not “aim” into the urine diverter very well. Trelino makes it super easy and even my 8 year old can do it! Cleaning the toilet is absolutely a cinch and even the weakest of persons can lift it! Love everything about this unit and so happy we purchased it.
A easy swap for the cassette toilet I was using.
Much easier to empty and so far no issues.
My issue with urine flow was resolved by sliding a bit forward on the seat…perfecto!
The Trelino is a delight to have in my van. Doesn’t take up much space and works well as an extra seat.
One thing I noticed was that there was no membrane in the opening…is that something I needed to purchase?

I like it better that the one I had previously because it is lighter. I can move it easier. I have not had to poop in the middle of the night yet but I am glad it is there if I do and I am sure it will work out well.

First off, the customer service has been excellent. Before purchasing, I submitted a couple of questions via chat and got answers within 24 hours. Once I ordered, I made a mistake and didn’t apply my $30 promo code so sent a chat asking if it was possible to get a credit after the fact. It was applied right away.
We’d been contemplating retrofitting a composting toilet in our commercially built out van for a couple of years but all the options were too large for the space we had to work with…until Trelino came along. The large EVO just fits our space and we love the simplicity of this toilet over the many others we looked into.
I removed the previous toilet, capped off the drain to the black tank and built a frame to hold the Trelino in place while in transit. Down the road, I may try to figure out how to drain the liquids into the black tank as an option. (It would be great if the Trelino engineers developed a urine holding canister with a valve that could be used for this purpose).
We kept the Trelino in the house for a week to test it out. Both my wife and I found it easy to use and once we used the proper litter (we started with wood pellets because that's what we had and would not recommend), there was no smell. We’re home composters so the concept of properly balancing wet material with dry material to avoid smells is easy for us.
As noted, the female anatomy requires some adjusting to properly “hit the targets” so to speak but she didn’t find it difficult and that was one of her main concerns with a composting toilet.
The four stars are only because we haven’t had a chance to to test it on the road for a sustained period of time but (and I never thought these words would come out of my mouth), we’re excited to put this toilet to the test.
