The sealing properties of this silicone membrane keep the urine canister closed from the inside, ensuring that liquid is unable to escape from the canister into your toilet and that any smells are kept away. Even if there is any splash from bumpy roads or tipping, this membrane stays put and keeps your space clean and smelling fresh. If you are a full-timer using your Trelino® on a regular basis, the membrane should be replaced every 3 months in order to maintain the fit and sealing properties. For weekend warriors or part time users, this piece should be replaced every 6 months.
Please advise if I've received 2 defective valves.

If the item is indeed damaged, we will of course send you a replacement right away.
Please note that the membranes are always slightly open by design to prevent the membrane lips from sticking together. Additionally, this slight opening allows air to escape from the canister, preventing internal blockage when liquid passes through. Without this feature, there would be a risk of overflow. It’s honestly just really disappointing. It was so expensive and just not very good. The shape of the pee container makes it really awkward to empty, and the lidless poo container smells every time I open up the top lid. The membranes get pushed out of place sometimes when I put the lid back on, and sometimes they fall all the way in. It’s not because the membranes are bad, the whole thing is just not a good design. I’m afraid I’ve wasted my limited funds on this product.
Small and easy to use, cleaning,dumping is a breeze
I’m a full time rv traveler ( retired ) and I always try to be extra prepared as I’m not always where I can get packages delivered. I also like a clean environment so I’m so happy for a way to have things on hand I might need later. Thank you for having these available for my emergency parts kit. I’ve never lost one or had one damaged but I do like to replace them occasionally.
